There will be two three day CBTs with limited content available for ten hours each day (60 hours total). More information follows after the promotional trailer for Black Squad.

July 20th to 22nd - 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM EDT
Through Neowiz's partner program there are dozens of providers distributing keys. These include IGN, MMORPG, and ESL. In a Q&A, Neowiz stated that they themselves will release one key per account through the main website. It is unknown when these providers will be activated. The best method for the average user currently is to find one through the official Discord server.
This section will be updated with direct links to key distributors as soon as they are activated.

Black Squad is an upcoming first-person shooter (FPS) destined for Western audiences. It has a two year publishing history in Korea, Japan, and Indonesia. It is owned by Neowiz and developed by NS Studio. Pmang publishes in Korea while NHN publishes the Japanese version. The Steam version is described as the 'global' version with a small Korean-based team attached. Black Squad draws on similar art designs, textures, icons, game play, UI elements, and more features from Neowiz's previous title Alliance of Valiant Arms. It has earned the nickname 'A.V.A 2.0' by those playing in the Korean version.
The beta will feature four game modes with three of them having unique maps. A quickmatch feature will be present for matchmaking along with a server browser. The game modes are Deathmatch, Demolition, Assassination, and Destroy. There are two maps for deathmatch, four maps of the same for Demolition and Assassination, and at least one map for Destroy. Deathmatch features the usual team vs team, infinite respawn game play from the genre. Demolition, or Search & Destroy, is a single C4/bomb mode where it is the classic terrorists vs counter-terrorists battling over two bomb sites. Assassination is similar to a hostage style game mode. Destruction involves acquiring team score by destroying specific targets across the map.
The hardware requirements listed are on the low-end when compared to other titles. Sources indicate the recommended requirements should be much higher than listed for adequate performance at mid-settings. Due to the nature of Unreal Engine 3 any confirmations on performance will only be made during the Steam CBT. On the Steam product page the minimum CPU is a Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz, while the recommended is simply a Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz. Similarly, the minimum GPU is GTX630 or a recommended GTX 560. CGO will be sure to conduct performance reviews in an updated article after CBT.
Black Squad features two main groups, the Peacemakers, the 'good guys', and the 'Viper Circle', the 'bad guys'. There is a web comic depicting the two groups in conflict. It features internal plots within each group adding some depth to the lore. The comic also seeks to develop the characters that are present in the game. Google translate works well to gather the plot points but a future translated English version would be more digestible. As of publishing, there are no lore indications on the English website.
CGO's Ink will be streaming the CBT periods on twitch.tv/CGOMedia. Ink will attempt to stream all sixty hours and display the game play to those unable to find a key. Discussions will be had throughout the streams with other notable personalities from other F2P FPS titles. Be sure to tune in!
